Registration for the 2024-2025 school year began on December 1, 2023, and is ongoing throughout the school year.

Registration/Enrollment Process for all NEW Students

Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) transitioned to a centralized "Enrollment Center" to streamline the enrollment process for families. This transition includes an online enrollment system. School registrations/enrollments are not handled at the individual school sites/offices.

Preparing for Kindergarten

Many of you may be wondering what you can do to help make sure your precious little one is ready for the big step into kindergarten. Please take some time to go to the list of things your child should know to make the beginning of kindergarten a breeze! Of course, we at Laurelwood always welcome all children and will meet them where they are and help them to get to the next step on their learning journey, but making sure your child knows these few things can help make the kindergarten experience a successful one from the very first day!

Attendance Information

Your child needs to check in through the office if they arrive late to school (i.e. anytime after 8:15 a.m.), otherwise they will be marked absent.
